Aikido Yamato Buikukai
We are an Aikido organization under the Aikikai (World Aikido Center) lineage, with recognition from the Buikukai headquarters in Japan. Since the beginning of our Aikido school, we are under the Supervision of Shihan Hirotoshi Yabuuchi 7th Dan Aikikai, the General Direction of Master Hiroshi Yamashita 6th Dan Aikikai and the instruction of Regional Director Sensei Gabriel Vega, 5th Dan Aikikai, who lead in the teaching of Aikido. All our teachings come directly from what Japanese teachers transmit to us, both in their technique and in the development of mentality.
The fundamental essence of our school is sustained in several aspects that we seek to develop in our students through Aikido. Based on them we look for:
Forge a strong mind and a healthy body through the practice of Aikido as a martial art. You must train day by day with attention to refine manners, technical knowledge and develop a body and mind that allow us to become better human beings.
Through practice we strengthen the body, the mind and we also seek to develop the best of our latent abilities and capacities.
In our classes we look for the best effort of the students so that they show the knowledge acquired and can continue growing.
We cultivate proper behavior and keep the Dojo (practice area) always clean and safe for everyone.

Development of personal self-esteem while respecting that of their peers. Eradicate behaviors of violence or conflict inside and outside the Dojo.
Cultivate courtesy through etiquette; always respecting his fellow practitioners.
Through practice, the student should eventually become capable of learning to control his emotions and achieve an integration of mind, technique, and body.
It is a very useful teaching system to develop discipline, not as a punishment, but as the development of willpower that will be very useful in the path of life. Technique alone does not make a great martial arts practitioner, he must be mentally strong and disciplined.
We aspire through training to be useful people for society.
Teach our students that above the competition they must understand the values of Aikido and appreciate its tradition.
We believe that Aikido helps educate society through practice for men, women and children.
Personal development is achieved through knowledge and the development of skills (It is the main objective of any educational system). This knowledge is imparted to all our students so that through the practice of a self-defense system, they can improve in all aspects of life and through a martial path they develop: health, strengthen the mind, manage emotions, they learn to live with other fellow practitioners of all ages and sex and above all in a clean, safe and family environment, where we share a common ideal.
We invite you to come and participate in our Aikido school, under the supervision of true and traditional Japanese Aikido masters, and live a different experience that will transform your life.
